Confidentia is a share company serving the public good. The sole shareholder is the Foundation for Associative Economics. Its involvement is not motivated by profit, which further assures Confidentia's independence.

Confidentia?s Steering Group is composed of user representatives, authorities, science and client associations, as well as the Ways to Quality Foundation. It advises and oversees the Director and the Certification Office.

Confidentia itself utilises Ways to Quality to review and develop appropriately its own organisation, processes and performance. Its commitment to impartiality and confidentiality is subject to regular internal audit.
